Your choices
Everything you click or write, and the parts you hand to the AI.
The engine
A translation engine turns your choices into plain text that an AI can read and follow. It runs on our server, when your files are made.
Rules and checks
The files come with a set of rules that tells your AI how to read them, and quality checks it runs on every chapter.
Tips
- Give as much detail as you can. The closer your setup is to the world you imagine, the closer your chapters will be.
- Add the whole pack of files, not just some of them.
- Adding files by hand? Also paste the instructions from the export into your project's instructions, so your AI reads the files first.
- A free Claude account works through Projects, but can hit limits sooner.
Spoilers and research
Anything you hand to the AI with AI creates or AI decides is not shown on screen, so the story can still surprise you. The export files do contain it, so don't open them if you want to stay surprised.
In the Research part, pick real-world topics your AI should look into before it writes, for example sailing or espionage. Or hand it over, and the AI chooses. You can add topics at any time.
